Things were really hectic end of last week so the King and I went on a short trip to the island of the Gods to wind down.. We didn't do much of anything during the 2 nights trip except for rest & relaxation with some culinary explorations around Seminyak, Kuta & Ubud..
Since we were already on the island, we decided to visit the babies in Alun Alun Indonesia located inside Sogo Department Store in Kawasan Pariwisata, Nusa Dua.. I never knew just how big the shopping area was until we walked from one end to the other and trust me, it was huge! We came from section A parking lot and walked all the way to section C, then had a late lunch at the Dirty Duck Diner located in the newly established neighboring shopping center called the Bay..
Anyways, Sogo Department Store is located smack dab in the middle of it, section B to be exact and right in front of it is a Starbucks coffee shop.. If you are planning to make a visit there I suggest you park near section B, you could always wander around to the other sections if you like..
All in all it was short, sweet and totally refreshing trip.. Just what we needed to get back into a neutral state.. Hope your weekend was as refreshing y'OwL (",)
